When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. To facilitate print exchanges, we also store your shipping address, printing details, and any images you upload. Your exchange history and messages with other participants are stored on the platform.
Image ownership
You retain full ownership of every image you upload. Your images are displayed on the site solely to facilitate print exchanges with other participants. We do not claim any rights to your work.
How we use your data
Your data is used only to operate The Print Trade — matching you with exchange partners, displaying your profile in the directory, and delivering transactional emails. We will never sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it for any purpose beyond running this site.
Third-party services
We use Resend to send transactional emails (your email address only) and Cloudflare for hosting and anonymous, privacy-focused analytics. No other third parties receive your data.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or any third-party analytics scripts.
Data deletion
To request deletion of your account and all associated data, send a DM to @fiftymillimeter_ or @my_eyes_are_red on Instagram.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
